Networking Events

To build on the Orientation Year program and provide ongoing opportunities for networking across classes and continued development of relationships, a variety of events for social and educational purpose are regularly scheduled by the network committee.

One of our most popular events is the Class Welcome. Whether catered or held at a local hot spot, the Welcome always brings out the CLN alumni to greet the newest Orientation Year Class members.

Another great networking annual opportunity is the Leadership Award Dinner. For more information about our awardees and the annual award, see Leadership Award on the menu bar.

Other networking events are more randomly scheduled, as needs arise, or as opportunities are presented. Examples of networking events are summer barbecues and conversations with local leaders about current trends and challenges.The purpose of these get-togethers is to share ideas and concerns with other network members, to have a sounding board for problem solving, and just to have fun.
