You are invited to apply for next year's class. Recruitment is an ongoing process and the Leadership Network is always open to requests.

The deadline for application submission is November 15.

Timely application submissions get preference for acceptance and scholarship awards!

Decisions are made on the new class by the Selection Committee and candidates are notified by December 31.

Ideal candidates should...

Live and/or work in Chautauqua County.
Show interest in building a better community in active control of its destiny.
Possess the willingness to participate in a growing network of knowledgeable and committed trained leaders.
Seek improvement of leadership development skills necessary for career achievement or participation in community activities.
Have support from their sponsoring organization to attend programming.
Have the time to devote to the program and the training.

Financial Commitment

Tuition for the program is $1250 and is due between December 31 and January 31. A limited about of money has been designated for scholarships and may be available based upon financial need. Full financial assistance is not available

Time Commitment

The time commitment is a retreat Thursday evening through Saturday night generally held the last full week in February. The retreat is followed up by 9 monthly morning sessions (1/2 day) held on Thursdays thru November or early December. There is also one full day session.

The summer program which includes Chautauqua Institution lectures is optional.
